Country Music and Religious music is what they listened to . My mom and her 2 sisters also sang on the radio on Sundays. This was in the late 40's and early 50's .

My Dad listened to Bluegrass, and my Mom listened to Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Johnny Mathis, Perry Como..etc.

My parents listened to The Beatles a lot and I'm glad they did because I really like them now. They were really influential in the music industry =^D

Mostly folk music... Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver. A lot of bluegrass & hillbilly music as well as gospel. I began learning classical piano when I was around 7. Pretty musical family!

Every Sat.night it was the Grand Ole Opry,and Sundays it was polkas. The rest of the week it was old country. I didn't mind hearing it,so to this day I still listen to it all but oldies R&R is my favorite over the others.
