Should I wear shorts under my cheerleading skirt?

I was considering wearing some gym shorts under my cheer uniform skirt when not cheering. Yeah, we wear bloomers (matching briefs) but I feel they are too much like reg underwear . I want to be able to walk and talk with my friends without worry about some pervs looking.

Just because you are a cheerleader does not mean you cannot preserve your modesty. If you feel more comfortable wearing a pair of cheer shorts under your skirt then do it.

My school actual told us we were not allow to wear the skirt part of our uniform with briefs on game days. So we ordered extra skirts and one of the moms sewed matching shorts onto them.

In our school, to show spirit, the Cheerleaders wore their uniforms all day at school on game day and some of them even wore them after school. I had a friend that worked with me at Snyders, she wore hers to work every Friday there was a home game. She looked so cute at the front counter in her cheerleading uniform.

Now about the question, yea, those skirts are really short (I wore a cheerleading uniform once), I can understand wanting something more underneath (I just had the bloomers under the skirt and wow, hard to keep covered, watch where you bend, sit, stand ...). I would think some shorts underneath would be fine. Find a short pair that match one of the colors in the uniform, I would think they would look ok.

Oh, and our cheerleaders, they weren't at all skanky. Cool girls, everyone of them I met. Those who think otherwise, get to know them, cheerleading is a sport.

I'm a cheerleader and the trick to this is to go buy some boy shorts underwear in whatever color your Lolly or bloomers, as you call it, are. They are still tight to your body but they arn't like underwear ya know. The problem with shorts it having to put them on and take them off and whith the boy short cut underwear you'll feel more confident and less like you are showing people whats under that skirt. You can also try spandex volleyball shorts that arent too long. They work great also.

How is your skirt? I am a cheerleader and my skirt is tight with a little flare and it would be very noticeable to have a pair of gym shorts underneath... but I don't know how your skirt is. Try a pair of boy shorts that are the same color as your bloomers. When i wear skirts I wear boy shorts underneath but deffinatley not my cheer skirt.

Wear the spanky pants, they're the only thing that will look okay with the length of the cheerleading skirts. Just wear cheekies or a thong underneath and then you won't feel like the spankies are like underwear.

yeah im a cheerleader too and we have bloomers but i dont where anything over them because no one on the squad does and i never thought of that. It depends what kind of skirt u have. you dont want it to stick out of the bottom. if you want to you should wear shorts under ur skirt...try soffees. there short comfy shorts.

Sure...if you don't feel comfortable wearing something then go ahead and put on a pair of shorts. I totally agree with you about the pervs thing.

Yeah !wear them, you are a true young lady most cheerleaders wouldn't even give that a thought. Wearing shorts under your outfit is okay whatever makes you comfortable. Keep that respect up for yourself and your body.
