Harold Lloyd for me! A pair of glasses and a smile was all he needed to keep us laughing! well me anyway!

Interesting that everybody picks out a comedy actor. I will too It has to be Harold Lloyd for me. Though, I remember being quite taken with Rudolph Valentino when I was wee (not that I'm old). Quite a dramatic style.

Buster Keaton, in my opinion. I admired how he not only co-wrote (he had a team of writers) most if not all his films but he usually directed them as well (his silents anyway) and sometimes even lent a hand in filming them. He did all of that and starred in his films as well! A very talented man. "The General" is considered to be his greatest film but my favorite is probably "Our Hospitality" or "Steamboat Bill Jr.". :-)

Clara Bow- She was the original "it" girl!
vivacious, cunning and loaded with irresistable charm. She had a sad life as a child, but rose above it to become a movie legend.

Charlie Chaplin - I don't know that I could pick one movie but I always thought he was great and that his demeanor was unique.

everyone loves chaplin but when i was younger what did it for me was harold lloyd. His stunts were amazing.
