Most likely an infection (STD). Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, most frequently Trichomonaisis is the culprit if the odor is especially bad. You should visit a clinic or doctor right away to avoid transmission of the infection, and to receive proper treatment.

There is a huge posibility that you have an infection of some sort. See a doctor. Some infections you don't have to have sex to get and can be treated fairly easily.

sounds like a bad infection - call your doctor and get evaluated. You can also try rinsing your area with a betadine solution so that if it is a topical infection you can clear it up.
good luck and cal the doc.

You might have an infection - like BV (bacterial vaginosis) - go see a doctor to rule it out.
(If it's an infection, antibiotics can clear it up easily.)

My sister left a tampon in and it traveled upwards. She had to have it surgically removed. It caused a horrible stench. P.S. : she is a nurse and was soooo embarassed!
