dwight howard because Yao seems kind of slow and never had a outstanding season.

That is an easy one all day long and twice on Sunday! I will take Yao Ming everytime. Dwight Howard does not have the skill set and never will have the skill set of Yao Ming. Now if Howard had the same skill set along with his tremedous athlecticism then no question give me Howard. I heard Olajuwon is working with Yao and I tell you what . . . I don't even know what to tell ya.
Seriously though, I know we say Yao is soft cause he is not pulling the rim down every other play and knocking folk down and standing over them, getting technicals and all that. Trust me, if Yao continues to improve, he will be just fine.

I would rather have Dwight Howard. First of all, he's younger and has more talent. He's way more athletic and Yao is considered to be soft, where Howard is a beast and a machine scoring in the post and rebounding.

with the way the pace of the game is changing, the better pick would be dwight howard because he's younger, faster and more athletic than yao. plus, yao has had a history of injuries in his short career so far.
dwight is the beast you want on your team. i'm still waiting for him to get his 30 point 30 rebound game. it's coming.

Definitely Yao Ming. You want your post players to be well rounded. Yao is way better than Howard offensively and just as good defensively. The only thing Howard does better than Yao is grabbing rebounds and dunking. For his career he only averaged 15.1 pts per game, 11.6 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks. Howard has yet to average more than 17.6 pts per game in 1 season. Yao averages 18.5 for his career, 8.9 rebounds for his career, and 1.8 blocks. And Yao's best season, he averaged 25 pts per game. I'm not saying Howard is a bad player because he's the 2nd best center behind Yao, Howard is one of the best rebounders in the league. But Yao has bette post moves and scores more, and I would rather have him on my team.
