I prefer to figure things out on my own....if I don't get it or need help I will then ask for it when I need it.....but when I ask for it I will ask specifically what I want to know ...and don't like people to get in depth about it unless I ask.....because most times I just want to know a basic function or how to get it to work....I don't really care about the details....

A piece of good advice is great but it only goes so far. Figuring something out for yourself leads to a much better understanding.

For me it would depend on what it is I am trying to figure out, but for the most part yes I do like to figure things out myself.

Most of the time I do. If it's something I'm emotionally attached to, I might seek a second opinion to gain new perspective.

Most of the time yes, its easier than having so many opinions on what you should do that you can't even think straight :)

Sometimes I do but other times I like to ask for the advice of people I am close to.....

oh yeah i hate it when someone tells me what to do even if they're absolutely right.... i rather experience whatever i have too and then figure it out myself .... but listening from time to time does help =)

um yea like when im making like a bird house(which i never do) i dont read the instructions not only on that but pretty much on everything i just like to do it myself because if you ask for help they are so complicated so i just like to do it myself
