If I ever wrote a fiction book, it will be based on the society that we live in with the people who are around us, but there will be someone, who possess some sort of a mind power and has control over something strange. I know that this topic has been covered many many times as well, but if you really apply some thought into it then for sure it can be turned to an amazing work.
The power doesn’t have to be anything supernatural. Just make it like a communication to other’s subconscious mind without their notice.

Some fictional themes include renewal of hope, redemption, internal strength, love’s mysterious ways, deception for fun and profit, or the symbolism of certain colors or shapes. When you sit down to write a piece of fiction, you might have these kinds of themes in mind or you might not. In fact, it’s most likely that you’ll discover a theme while you’re revising the first draft. Once you can see it, you can elaborate on it, and really tighten up the story line.
