This question has been asked before but different people will obviously answer this time. I personally like them both, but David Letterman seems to be losing his humor. Jay Leno's show is different every night while Letterman has pretty much the same segments each night, or so it seems.

I didn't know this question was asked already today lol. Last night I was changing back and forth from Leno to Letterman, watched Jim Carrey on Conan O'Brien's show, and watched Alice Cooper on Carson Daily's.

I prefer Leno for his opening monologue but Letterman for his overall show.

Leno west coast rules but i tell you what if Conan brings that crazy show of his to la when he takes over im switching to Letterman im telling you now that $hits funny after leno and i feel like staying up but carson and leno where class ya know that zany stuff aint gonna cut it at 10:30

Jay Leno, is funny and not a pomp-*** as Letterman. He even looks funny, like a naughty kid in his Sunday Best. He reminds me of Johnny Carson, sweet, smooth and funny.

Lettermen's show is just a script. Lacks humor and his skits are just repitive. His Bush quote segment ran its course after the third one.
Leno seems to be a much more interesting personality and not so scripted.
Old Johnny Carson shows - are still the best

Leno most definitely. I never watch them but I have at least seen one episode of each show. Leno was hilarious but David was kinda boring, I was only watching it because Avril Lavigne was preforming. David also did this ten list thing and he talked way too fast during it.
All in all Jay Leno has my vote!

I prefer Jay Leno....after all this years I cant see why David Letterman is still on....yawn.
