If your so much intelligent, you should learn pretty soon, that nobody is powerfull while alone... Its is friends, family and contacts that made somebody powerfull, if you don`t get those, even if you have a 500 I.Q level, you will never reach a powerfull position.
We are a social specie, and by definition, its who we knows that define our power in a community, not who we are (unless related to family).
So if you think to become a president, it would take you those qualities to become one: Intelligent (easy part), wisdom (maybe Bush did not need that one), sagacity, consciouness and imagination, when you got all those, its because you are old enough to understand how the world really works and take good decisions. Some will say that it takes only two qualities to become President, intelligence and experiences... This is the other name they give to the qualities I mention above. And you will be very lucky to get those at your age... I am surely a little bit older than you, and know how hard it could be to get to the top with the top responsabilities on your back. Believe me, you don`t want those responsabilities, unless you have a lot of ressourceful friends to help you!

Probably because you were not killing your brain with drugs and liquor for half of your life, and you didn't have someone to dig you out of every hole you dug yourself in thus you worked hard.

How do you know that you are smarter than Bush?

Maybe you are, and maybe you aren't!

Having a "bachelor's degree" means nothing. There are plenty of PhDs who are idiots, you know!

He bought his degree. He was C student in high school, there's no way an ivy leauge would have let him in if his family hadn't made generous donations.
