That happens to me ALL the time!!!! And i am a year- round swimmer!!!! All i do is put my goggles on right when i am getting up to the block and take em off right after!! But as far as practice is concerned try to deal but if you cant then try a new pair of goggles. That is what i had to do right when is began swimming(8 yrs ago). I finally found the RIGHT pair and then they broke last meet, RIGHT BEFORE my event!!! irrr now i have to use my brothers old ones and they work good!!! So just follow my advice and you should be good!!! Good luck at your next meet!!!!! Is it Saturday? I hope i helped!!!! ♥ ya :)

its a common problem. I'm blind and I have a condition were to much pressure around my eye is a bad thing. I have to sets of google's one's for practice and they work better for me because they spread the pressure out a bit more. the only drawback is you get worse Google lines. and my race goggles are tented black and are like everyone else's. I just have to be able to deal for a couple of minute and then I good. I do distance races like the mile so it can be kinda long. but what I do won't work for you unless your willing to close your eyes in the middle of a race. if you are this works fro me. close your eyes a tight as you can for like 5 sec the pain lessens and you can last longer. good luck

This happens to me almost every practice. Try adjusting your nose piece to see if that helps, and also try this: after you get done with a set take your googles off and put your head under the water so get a cool sensation over your eyes, this helps me. Or if you wear a swim cap the way your googles fit with your cap might be the problem. Hope this helps.

This happens to me too. Try experimenting with different brands and different styles - they are all a little bit different in shape and fit. Latley I switched from a Nike (with foam rims) to a Speedo (with rubber rims) and its more comfortable. A good sports shop will have a selection of sizes and styles that you can try on to get the best fit to your particular face shape. Also try adjusting the nose bridge, this can help too.

i always have that problem w/ googles that have rubber that lines your eyes. i now wear goggles that have foam around the eyes, and i never have that problem.
