Humans *are* physiologically, anatomically, socially, and genetically apes.
There is no doubt of this; it is scientific fact based on biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, DNA analysis, and social anthropology.

Okiedokie. So.
Humans are not plants. End of story.
Humans are warm-blooded, suckle their young, have hair, a backbone, etc. and are therefore mammals.
If you believe that humans have no relation whatsoever to apes, I bet you I could introduce you to a few people who'd convince you otherwise.
Humans, etc. are, yes, different HOWEVER not different enough that they can't be classified as apes and, I'm sorry, but humans are animals. They just happen to be smarter and more full of wickedness than every other thing. They also tend to have a superiority complex when it comes to other living beings, up to and including other members of their own species.
The distinction you are referring to is purely psychological, not physiological.

I guess you never studied biology. This sort of question is often asked by somebody with religious doubts. There are many things in common with us and the apes and being mammals is one. We even share a lot of genes with plants. All living things are related to some extent.

You sir are in denial. Humans are most definitely animals. Our shared genetic relationship can be very clearly defined by comparing our gene sequences.

We share 98% of our DNA with chimpanzees, 97% with Gorillas, and 99% with the extinct neanderthals. You don't see this as a connection?
