Did she go to Hogwarts? I'm listening to the audio book, but I don't recall anything about Ginny.

Yes, Ginny went to Hogwarts. She appear earlier in the book and went to the Quidditch World Cup and makes several appearances later. Most noticeably when she announces who she's going to the Yule Ball with. And the Yule Ball was held at Hogwarts.

Ginny wasn't considered an important character until the 5th book. She started Hogwarts in the trio's 2nd year but didn't hang out with them until their 5th year and her 4th year. She's probably with her friends in the 3rd year.

Ginny does have other friends, so she's probably sitting with them. I know that she is in the Yule Ball part.

Yeah , she's there. She's just not important in this book, or the next book.
