Well, since Castro has previously stated that the CIA was out to get him, it would have made more sense if he named Bush Sr. as he was prior director of the CIA.

However, remember that shortly after Fidel Castro was excommunicated in 1962 by Pope John XXIII, Castro made the claim that the Pope had also ordered the Knights Templar to kill him (a ridiculous claim at best.) After all, the excommunication only lasted for a year (That Pope died in 1963, and excommunications are forgiven after the Pope that issued them dies) and a few years later Castro was attending mass with Pope John Paul II.

So the guy has a history of outlandish claims. As far as I can see, they're even, as Bush Jr. has a history of outlandish claims, too.

Such things have probably been going on for years, even before Bush got into politics. I seem to recall that at one time Castro thought Kennedy would make an attempt on his life as well.

I'm not in the habit of believing a socialist or a communist dictator over any American President ( with the exception of Jimmy Carter who I wouldn't believe over another living soul ) .. nor am I going to attempt to praise Castro by giving him any validation - like the mainstream media does ..

Fidel Castro has had so many assissnation attempts from the days of JFK & RFK, to Bush now.
We will also attempt to wipe him out.

that is pretty much old news. and I know you are not talking about this current Bush. there have been other leaders that the US has approved or backed in assasination attempts.

It's sad that the American public is now finding this out. But, if you learned about this and other CIA histories, you probably wouldn't believe it.
