I took a pregnancy test last week and the "+" is visible but a little faint. Am I pregnant?? Should I take another one.

Even if it's faint you are most likely pregnant.
You just didn't have enough of the hormone in your urine to make the plus sign come all the way in.
Of course you want to be certain, I would see your doctor and have him or her do a blood test, an additional urine test or an ultrasound.

How long after the test did the positive reading show up?
Myself, I went thru a similar experience. It took about 2 hours for a very faint positive. As it turned out, I wasn't pregnant.
But from the test sitting around, thats what caused the very faint positive.
Make sure you read the test in the first 15 minutes. Not after its sat around.
3 years ago, I was pregnant and when I did the home test, there was a definite dark positive right away.
So all I can suggest is going to your doctor for a blood test.
By the way, how late are you? This could have an impact on the results , even if you are.
The later you are, the more positive your result will be.

if the + happpened when you took the test you ARE, but if you kept it for a week and it says + now, and didnt when you first took the test, then it maybe an evap line, and you need to take another test...either way good luck!

I would go to Planned Parenthoold and take a test there. They'll be able to tell you for sure. I hope this helped. Good luck!

Take another then see your gyno for blood work
they always say to take a couuple of diffrent tests then get blood work at your DR. Good luck! hope everything is how you want it...

faint or not means your are omg congratz...but it you really want to find out for sure go to the doctor they test you and if your a positive then n there they will tell you how far you are!!! im sooo happy for you1!!!

deff positive, even the lightest line is a positive, as long as you didnt read it after the time limit they gave you. take another one if you would like to be sure. but you are pregnant

Yeah, you should take another one to make sure. Sometimes...very rarely tho, I've heard you can have a false positive ...but I don't know how that can work.
