I would say that you need to determine some things that you wan t to accomplish then 1) Set a Goal and 2) Make a plan to reach that goal. Everytime you find yourself bored start working on your plan. For example:

If you want to write a book someday then make a goal to write a book within six months, and then make a plan to work at least an hour a day on your book. Now, when you get bored, you will not only have something to keep you occupied, but it will also be very personally gratifying in the long run.

Some ideas for goals:
-redecorate your room / apartment / house
-learn a new skill (cooking, biking, carpentry, etc)
-help others in need (big brothers /sisters etc)
-become an artist (write a book, paint, write music)

Hope this helps.

By "leaving the house", that does include going into the back/front yard, also? I suggest that you get a mortar and pestle. Then, hunt around the house for berries, fruit, vegetables, etc. For more ingredients, go out into the garden or yard to get some leaves and bark. While you're at it, see if you can collect some rain water. Bring all of that stuff into the house, and start getting creative with the mortar and pestle by mashing the things together and see what you can create. Even better, start to do some tribal dance and make up some chants on your own. Experiment with different voice tones and pitches. See how low or high your vocal cords will allow you to go. If you do not have a mortar and pestle, a flat rock/cutting board/bowl/plate and stick/stone can be a substitute. If you are not allowed to leave the house in any manner, get your outdoor ingredients by leaving one foot into the house, and stretching your body outside until you come in contact with grass or something. If all else fails, go week the garden.

Go out and discover any one that demands aid. Them aid them! Nothing is extra pleasant than serving to a different individual. Do you've an aged neighbor that demands her backyard wiped clean up? A busy mother neighbor that demands her automobile washed and vacuumed? Get up, get out and aid. You would possibly not remorse it.

I agree with the cure fan. Get yourself a video and some candles. Set a romantic mood, then abuse yourself.
