The eldest child has 15 months, and I am scared that if I will put her at the side of her sister she will touch or disturb her. I've seen two models: TWIN ARIA MAMAS and PAPAS or JANET POWERTWIN . Which one is the best?

she may touch her sister, but it will be fine. The noovelty of a new baby will wear of quickly and she will likely leave the baby alone. But side by side buggys are difficult to maneuver and do not fit in many shops. You may want to find a tandem model.

I've totally had the same prob.

I've got a 3mth old and an almost 2yr old. Fortunately the only major prob I had deciding about a tandem was what type, i.e.side-by-side or front-back style as we live in Italy and the streets are horrendously narrow, not to mention door-ways! We have the 3-wheeler Jane powertwin, there definately are pros and cons about it now I use it everyday.

However I did research on the net and checked out other parents reviews before buying so I new what the cons were and still decided it was the best on the market for a newborn and a toddler.

One thing, there is a jane tandem out there that isn't three-wheeler that has almost all the same fuctions the 3-wheeler does.

Note, you cant fit much else other than the kids in the jane power-twin and it sucks if you have to go out in winter - with lotsa jackets etc - or shopping!

Good luck!

when my youngest was born my eldest was 19months old, so i had to get a double buggy. my personal choice is i prefer the side by side ones. i had no problem with my eldest disturbing the other.

I had the Combi Twin, it folds up really small and i could get it through most of the normal size doors which was handy. it lasted me till my eldest was 3 years old then i got a Mclaren XT stroller just for my youngest and attatched a buggy board to this. that was great aswell.

Good Luck....

I had a jane powertwin for my two that Ive just sold on ebay because my eldest won't go in a pushchair anymore.
Honestly, the jane powertwin is the best double pushchair around. Its easy to push with two children in it, it's very reliable, and it folds down easily. People used to come up to me in the street andask me about it, that's how popular they are.
The only downside to it is because it is a three wheeler, you have to get it square on when going up the kerb because it does tend to tip to the side.
I would avoid side by side ones as they won't go through doorways and the children tend to bash each other.
I also have a cossatto duet lite, which is fine, but it's quite heavy with two in and the inner tubes in the tyres tend to pop easily.
Have fun.

i suggest side by side even though ppl have a struggle getting them through doors but the ones where the baby sits behing oldest child the oldest childs seat dont always lay down so if ur son wanted to have a nap while u r out he will be uncomfortable if he touches new baby thats fine it will make them bond a lot more u must tell him if he is tormenting or making other baby uncomfortable i have a side by side n i wouldnt change it for a tandam one hope this helps

I go with the tandem model suggestions - my daughter had the side-by-side for the grandchildren and she struggled; they are very unwieldly - some doorways aren't wide enough to take them. O.K. when she was little we weren't allowed to take pushchairs into shops and had to carry the kids leaving conveyance outside, but why make life difficult?
Why don't you go into Mothercare or similar and try the two types for ease and convenience?

Hi, put it this way, you put two babys side by side and YOU will be fine! Try to get them through a door and NO CHANCE! Get one that sits the kids one infront of the other then you solve both problems. They cant mess about and you can get into shops !

I would suggest getting a model where one sits behind the other. I know I have difficulty at times with my single wide stroller fitting in places, a double wide would be impossible, and if a door is just slightly smaller than "normal" you can't get in at all!
