I got my first period after being on the pill right on time the next month...4 weeks after I stopped taking the pill. I ovulated right on time too...2 weeks after stopping the pill. I got off the pill in Oct. 2006, got my first positive test Nov 2006 but I miscarried that one 2 days after the positive test. I got my second positive test Dec 2006, on Christmas day and that baby is due in 8 more weeks! My best advice is to just try to let it happen without stressing yourself out with ovulation test, or checking your temp or any of that kind of stuff. If in 6 months you aren't pregnant, then try all that stuff. Your body will just work a lot better without the preassure and stress of checking your ovulation dates and stuff. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions!

I quit taking the pill the last week in March and got pregnant on the 1st ovulation cycle which was April 10th. I was expecting my period the 24th of April and decided to take a test that day cuz we had a big weekend planned including having some drinks and I wanted to be on the safe side, so I took a test that day (the 24th) and it was positive. Baby is due New Years Day!!!!!!

I ovulated 3 weeks after going off birth control pills, got my period 2 weeks after that. I got pregnant 2 weeks after that, when I ovulated again, and got a positive a week later, which was the week before my period was due. I'm trying for baby #2 now.

I was on depo which is A LOT diff. than the pill. I was on depo for 3 years, a month after I came offa it I started my periods back and then I become pregnant about 11 mths. offa the shot. Ive heard starting back your period and getting pregnant happens a lot faster if you are coming offa the pill opposed to the shot. It also has a lot to do with how long you have been on the birth control to how long it will take you to work back out to normal.

I was on the Dpo Shot in July of 2006 for the first time and after that was up in October we tried to get pregnant and we still aren't. Your best bet is to go to babyzone.com or babycenter.com and look up there ovulation calendar and you will be able to figure out when you ovulate if you have any problenms let me know

I ended up getting pregnant the same month I went off. (This was not intended).
Everything went fine and I was assured by the physicians it was not something to worry about.
I ended BC July 2005; he was born April 2006. ;)
