Ghosts. Do you believe in them?

Question

I believe in ghosts, but since I'm Christian, whenever my friends find out I believe in ghosts, they are stunned! I ask them if they believe in ghosts. They reply, "No, but I believe in angels, demons, and spirits!" I just get so annoyed. Just because it's not in the Bible doesn't mean it isn't real!!! In addition to that, I've had a few "supernatural" experiences.

So, do you believe in ghosts? If you do, are you Christian? If you don't believe in them, why not?

YES!! I am a christian and I believe in ghosts. I struggled with my parents wrath on that issue also for they also were devout christians. They told me all spirits on earth were demons. Take a look at Genesis 4-10. As we all know the Bible doesn't contradict itself but there it is in writing . God himself says "the blood of Cain crys out from the ground" If he was asleep could he cry out to God? I also have had encounter with spirits/ghosts. People who haven't experienced it have a hard time believing. Dont stress over it. Since you have had an experience, don't you think just maybe God may want you to help those entities to cross over to the place they should be? Maybe they do have unfinished business that you can help with. If evil , thank goodness that you have the armor of God/Jesus on your side!!

Yes I do believe in ghosts.
There are many things that we have yet to discover. Who is to say that there is no such things as ghosts or demons. We can only speculate and guess about the truth and what really is out there.
In personal experiences I have been lead to believe that there are such things as ghosts. I have never personally seen them , but I do believe that there exists the possibility that other creatures exist in a different plane or dimension from us.
There are many theories involving the existence of ghosts. Some scientists say that ghosts are just energy that the person who died has left behind and other people believe that if someone died in vain or is still somewhat attached to this world when they die they become spirits who roam the earth.

Whether we believe in ghosts or not these theories will be continued to be discussed for many more years to come. One thing is for certain we don't know about everything that's out there and we never will.

Religion is a man made discipline to conduct himself in a society. Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Jainism .. all preach about soul and God. They use their finding from time immemorial into faith. BBC had shown once the origin of life.... Just a cluster of water taking life and moving as a separate matter. ( Just imagine the Jelly fish) , a transparent flat fish with two eyes.. Rock like structure having life and moving... All these show that life can take a form and can also relinquish the form. If such a life is is in good spirits, it should act like an angel and it will. If that soul is not in good spirit, it can act as ghosts also.
Scientifically, it has been evidenced that there is life after death. This substantiate that the so called soul will live after the body...which is "matter". Ghosts, Spirits and Angels are beyond matter and time. Or in other words, space and time ( matter occupy space) Man has not conquered both space and time. So it remain inexplicable for him. so there is a possibility that there are ghosts and you get such supernatural experiences too.... Carefully study and then enjoy.

I'm not 100% sure yet. I watch a lot of ghost hunter shows on TV, some are obvious frauds, others are more serious, but I usually manage to explain what happened away even if they do not. One thing I believe though is that if ghosts do exists and if demons are for real then angels and God have to be for real. They oppose each other so you cannot have one without the other.

I believe in spirits. I have seen a few angels and I am very convinced of them! Now I took a course of parapsychology and they explained many of the chain rattles and flying things to be a person's own mind. That I also believe. We have the power to do things we can't even imagine. Don't they say 33% of our mind is used? So who knows what else we can do! This is a powerful subject. I do believe also in people doing tricks to make fool of others. But we are not alone, there are good and bad wandering out there. I am christian, and even the Bible speaks of demonds, so why would it be bad? We all have a way of defining them. Spirits to me, ghosts to you, etc.

Yes I do believe in them because I have seen and hear things that I think is a ghost. I'm also a christian too and your right about not being in the Bible don't mean it not real. My Dad have been able to feel them too.

I am Christian and I have had several experiences that tell me that there is a such thing as ghosts or earth bound spirits or what ever you want to call them.... demons etc....I have had the spirit of my Grandmother come to me in a dream. That was definately real. I also have been aproached by an evil spirit and that was terrifying. The only way to make an evil spirit leave you is to denounce it in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Also those evil spirits will always gather where there is drinking, drug abuse, and even anger looking for ways to influence Gods children to destroy themselves or each other.

I'm Christian and I believe in ghosts. I believe because, think about it, thousands of people see ghosts, if they aren't real, are all those people crazy or scam artists? I myself have seen ghosts. I know ghosts are real because there are people that refuse to die, and when there body passes away there soul stays and wanders the earth. Some do this because they don't know they're dead, some do it because they don't want to be dead. and others are ghosts because they are trying to help solve their deaths. That's why I believe in ghosts.

I'm a christian also, but I don't believe in ghosts.
I have been taught that demons can appear in the form of dead people, like when saul went to the witch and she showed him the "ghost" of samuel.
This was not actually samuel as samuel was dead. And face it, dead, Godly people can not be summoned be dark arts, which is a power given by devils and demons.

this only what I have been taught though, and even though I have also experienced some "supernatural" things, I stand by this belief.

Ghosts are the same thing as spirits and demons and angels. So yes you are still a Christian.
