Im turning 14 soon
and i wanna get a job
i live in Wilmington, N.C.
any time I try babysitting I cant find anyone
and I really dont want to work outside that much
Im interested in animals
but I'll work somewhere that doesnt have to do with animals
Please Help!

the veterinarian clinic in my city only allows 16 year olds to volunteer.

Try working at the local vet clinic, or an animal rehab center, there are also small zoos, large zoos, safari parks.
...also, there are plenty of child predators looking for 14 year olds...

If you are having trouble finding babysitting work you can get creative and try your hand at lots of other things in your neighborhood such as house cleaning, yard work, running errands, being home for deliveries, computer work, addressing envelopes, data entry, etc. You can canvass some of your parent;s friends and ask them what type of help they wish they had for basic things and then offer those types of services to your neighborhood and to your parent's friends. You can also check with your local school as many schools have work programs for students. You may not yet qualify due to minimum age requirements but you need to check what the minimum age is for your area. Maybe they can place you with a veterinarian or shelter. Perhaps a local YWCA would be helpful also.

I am the identical age and identical grade. I even have been considering getting a task. Durring the summer time I mow lawns. Durring the iciness I do not anything. If ther is a grocery/division retailer close you, you might take a look at there. Thats what I am considering doing whilst I flip 15. At 14, there isn't so much that you'll do except the babysitting and garden mowing form stuff. I might attempt to convince your mum and dad to will let you toutor individuals. Explain to them the way you suppose. You are historic adequate to depart your condo! As for the retirement house-i am not definite......

An answer from a Brit. Why don't you set up an agency for collecting the shopping of your community's elderly and housebound folk. If this is not delivered already by the store or Mall, such a service, with a charge, should benefit both you and the elderly folk who cant get out. Another one is to offer a reading service for the blind in your street or neighbourhood.

the best would be you joining a call centre there you will only have to attend call's and anwser them this would be quite easy
