brief answer: No long answer: there is not a single member of any party that believes a hundred% with the party line. each physique will disagree to a pair quantity. only look at each and each of distinctive perspectives in th republican debates. the final public is professional-conflict, yet Ron Paul is much greater anti-Iraq conflict than the Democrats. maximum are professional-existence yet Rudy is professional-selection and Mitt is "effectively professional-selection." All prefer tax reform yet all of them disagree as to what variety of reform. All espouse family individuals values yet countless have had dissimilar marriages. The Democratic applicants are only as distinctive because of the fact the Republicans. because of the fact of this we've the prevalent elections. If each member of the party believed precisely an analogous then republicans does not be debating subject concerns with one yet another. it might only be a rely of who's the final qualified. you do not would desire to comply jointly with your preferred party's platform. this is the dissent that retains the events clean and present day on what the folk prefer.

I think that traditionally young people respond more to democrats because republicans remind them of stern authority figures. Democrats seem cool and fresh and alive.
GW and Reagan are the only real exceptions with the former being someone you can have a drink with and the latter seeming like an ideal father/grandfather figure.

Do any of these reps seem cool (likeable, fresh, full of life)?: Dole, Giullani, Lott, Gingrich, Bush41, and many others.

As they get older some kids to fall off and turn republican.

It's easy to believe in the Democrats when you don't actually have to pay for it. It's easy to be very liberal with your views when your protected by the umbrella of youth and don't have to suffer serious consequences when it doesn't work out. But as adults you adjust and thus the swing back to a more conservative nature.

What are the moral beliefs of that GWB Republicans spew?
-men work and women stay at home?
-homosexuality is the work of the devil?
-don't share with the poor?
-don't help the weak and downtrodden?
-bomb your enemies?

I know that Republicans and Democrats are equally moral, because they consist of intelligent, morally-driven people. Some are religious; some aren't. Some are rich; some aren't. It's not surprising that a whole age group would feel left-out by such a stubborn president representing the GOP.

These so called "young Americans" are nothing more than kids regurgitating the BS that their liberal teachers have been forcing down their throat. They tried to do it to me and I bucked the system and called their bluff. I even got a few teachers fired over it. In college, I had one professor that was one of the hippies from the 60s and I got him in trouble when he gave me an F on a paper that went against his liberal beliefs. Don't even try to pull that BS here, it doesn't work kid!

To be honest, this makes me very sad and wary. I would prefer that all people do not base their decisions on a leader upon their party platform, their physical characteristics, or their rhetoric. Instead, I would like to think that people would take their skill and their past records into consideration, but alas elections seem to be more of an advertising campaign and a popularity contest.

Is that news? Demographics have long shown that political views change with age.

"A man who is not a liberal at 18 has no heart. A man that is not a conservative at 30 has no brain" -Kaiser Wilhelm.

Thats because young minds are easily molded. the democrats prey on that. Age however tends to wake one up.(usually). to realize that both major parties bow to only one master, and its not We The People. Time to "Restore the Republic" before we go over the edge and/or point of no return.

Confucious once say "if you aren't a Democrat before you are 20, you have no heart, if you aren't a Republican before you are 30, you have no brain".

I know that's been the case historically - typically by more than 58-42, too.
