i have a potload of new compilations i've bought from the DJ service, and sometimes can't figure out which is the song title and which is the band name! "My Chemical Romance" sounds like a GREAT song title, eg.
kinda kidding, but does anyone agree?

we have Mott the Hoople, Toad and the Wet Sprocket, Fat Mattress, Moby Grape, and Elvis Presley, and that just scratches the surface.

I totally agree. I'm only 19, but I cannot stand ANY of "today's music"... it just all sucks. You have "Fall Out Boy" and "My Chemical Romance" and oh... who else is there... oh, "Taking Back Sunday" what kind of name is that? And if you listen to their music it makes you wonder what happened to the greats? The orginals? Stevie Ray Vaughn? Otis Redding? Ray Charles? Al Green? I could go on and on. Again I ask, what happened to people like this? Where did a little thing like "talent" go?
Oh, God... and don't even get me started on the genre of so-called "hip-hop." That's just out-and-out crap.
It's embarrassing to me that this is what my generation is representing. It makes people like me look bad.
Sorry this is so long, but you asked a good question.

I have seen band that have like five words in their name. I hate that. Funny one is a cover band in our town going by the name Buster Hymen, at the show they say and the penetrators. hehe.
