I was previously criticized for having too negative an outlook on our future. I do believe there still is hope, we haven't gone past the point of no return. But are cons living in a fool's paradise?

When you listen to the news at night and listen to what people actually say and do, then you will see that the liberals in this country are the ones who are living in ignorant bliss. Harry Reid just today was attempting to change the Constitution by himself to fit his needs. He is about to be brought back to reality just like liberal fools who think the democrats took Congress because of the war. See how many of them are going to be re-elected in 2008 since they have gotten absolutely nothing done so far, and the things they are pushing are directly contrary to what the people of this country want.

No. Ignorance is bliss is a theory, it cannot be proven. They are simply another demonstration of it's validity.

Michael H: Let he who has never tried to change the constitution throw the first stone. The Repubilcans have been at it for so long maybe you didn't realize we're late getting into the game.

I was a bit confused about your meaning of "ignorance is bliss". So, I checked in the dictionary and there was a picture of Ted Kennedy.

Also, the synonym was "ignorance is besotted".

I think you are criticized for being an idiot. You are proof that ignorance is bliss.

Why, because we have a sense of individuality and don't think we should work to provide for those who won't. Or is it because we focus on the future and not the immediate gratification of our "feelings".

FYI: this reminds me of a previous question: if ignorance is bliss then why are the neo-cons so unhappy?

Let''s concentrate on all the schools we've built in Iraq. If we just think positive and ignore all the bad news, the kids will get to go to school!! Oh boyo boy, I feel so good right now!
