Women perpetuate the cycle of female genital cutting. They give the same reasons as people in America do when when they get their boys circumcised. They say it is cleaner, that it looks better, that it reduces infection etc.

Some cultures view it as a type of 'rite of passage' into womanhood, others use it to control a womans sexuality.

If they can't enjoy sex, they will be more moral with the lifestyle. It's an inhuman abomination that men force onto girls. Egypt today made it a crime!
