why extremists and terrorists attack and hate USA but not French, Germany, Italy, Japan, Austria, Canada? Why they only fight with USA, why they don't fight with Russia, China, North Korean, Iran?

The French are not immune. They've had muslim race riots.

Russia does indeed have a problem with Chechen (Muslim) terrorists. They've had two very bloody incidents at a theater and school.

North Korea - the gov't is the terrorists. Same with Iran.

There have been terrorists plots and attacks in Europe Japan and Canada over the last 40 years though not all were Islamic. Think of the Munich massacre, the Beider-Meinhoff gang in Germany; a recent plot to crash a plane in the Eiffle Tower in France; the Red Brigades of Italy; the poison gas subway attacks a few years back in Japan; the FLQ in Canada, Quebec in the 70's and a recent Muslim conspiracy to attack Canada's parliament and behead officials starting with the primeminister. Don't forget Chechnya and Muslim rebel attacks in Russia, China has terrorist problems in her North West with the same but keeps a lid on her problems like Russia used to do. North Korea is a closed censored society so we don't hear of any problems there.

I think in the war on terror the terrorists think the US is the ring leader of all these nations and in their eyes they see it is best when attacking a gang to overcome bullying you have to hit the biggest, meanest leader of the group which will of course demoralize the others.

- France has been threatened numerous times and have been attacked several times- french citizens attacked in Africa and remote areas of Indonesia

-Japan has had a few attacks on them and have also recieved threats

Terrorism has been fought in Oceana, all across africa, north america, south america and europe. Nobody wants to admit how large of a scale it is.

The other countries stick to themselves more.
Some Presidents have made some progress in Arab-Jewish conflicts, but I don't know about this one.
