Female Circumcision???

I have never heard of this before! why do they do it? what is the point???

well, it is designed to teach morality to a woman, in the sense that sex is meant to be for procreation and not pleasure. in these societies, this is believed to keep a woman faithful to her husband and not promiscuous. it is an outdated and barbaric practice, but that's why they do it.

It is a horrible practice that some cultures use to ensure that a woman does not have sex before she is married. It is barbaric and needs to be stopped!

WOMEN perpetuate the cycle of female genital cutting. They give the same reasons as people in America do when when they get their boys circumcised. They say it is cleaner, that it looks better, that it reduces infection etc.

Who would but it has been practiced in the Middle East and Africa for a long time. It is barbaric and pointless.

It's a tribal custom that has been Incorporated into whole societies. It's used to oppress women and take their sexuality away by men. Men who fear women, I might add.
