This seems to be the closest the Bible comes to mentioning 9/11:
(KJV) Isaiah 33:18Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?

(A modern version)18 In your thoughts you will ponder the former terror:
"Where is that chief officer?
Where is the one who took the revenue?
Where is the officer in charge of the towers?"
It doesn't seem to be very specific but the KJV does seem eerie.

I don't believe in prophecies or prophets, except those from the Bible. Taking any information that is vague and matched without vague answers can sound as if the event will happen. Just about everyone I have read concerning prophecies indicate that the reader will read into it what they want to read.
Investigators of prophecies can come up with any version they want just by manipulating the data. What is the scientific basis for prophecies? Does anybody check back on the prophecies made by modern prophets who state what will happen. All is up to interpretation. Even the Bible leads biblical scholars to come up with different answers.

The great thing about prophecies is that they are so vague that they can be interpreted to fit any particular observations. They're the equivalent of palm-reading or crystal-ball gazing. In other words, they're essentially useless as guides to the future - they can only be made to fit events looking back (the "Oh - _that's_ what it meant!" phenomenon..)
