A victory for equality. False diversity is not diversity but social engineering. Diversity should be organic not engineered by bureaucrats.

I think it's a victory. The truth is, you can't legislate morality and you can't legislate how people communicate. They have to do that themselves over time. And with all the law suit happy and political crap that goes on, not because they care but because they want power, all the governments efforts just get in the way of regular people like us getting together and realizing that our diversity makse us stronger. Ultimatley, the Governments involvement in race matter was useful at first to get things rolling, but now they are just in the way. As usual, their presence in the issue is too big and too much, just as government always is.

It's only a minor victory for a color-blind society. The tortured logic of Breyer proves that there are still too many dolts out there who strive for some made up concept called diversity.

It looks like a small step in the right direction. The mechanisms put in place to stamp out discrimination via 'reverse'-discrimination do need to be dismantled eventually.
