charge your battery?
battery may be near the end of its life, if its not holding its charge your gunna have to buy a new one

Open up your hard drive casing. Making sure you have touched something going to earth before doing so. Search around for a small silver flat battery and note the size and code number. Buy a new one and slot it in.

Your battery may be broken. This does not mean it does not work, but that it could be too old or it may just have malfunctioned. In any case, try replacing it with a new one and see if it makes any difference.
