"The legislature's job is to write law. It's the executive branch's job to interpret law." --George W. Bush, Austin, Texas, Nov. 22, 2000
At the time everyone thought this was a slip of the tongue. Was it?

I do not doubt that he believes that. His use of signing statements gives evidence to that fact, and he obviously has no real understanding of the checks and balances he disregards.

According to the book "Bush's Brain" George W Bush was taught everything he knows about government by Condaleza Rice when he was selected to run for President with Cheney.

He states that he rules America and all these old Democrats can't understand or know the Constitutions. He better stop throwing stones from the of glass he is living in. Mr George Bush is the one is breaking all the Constitutions, he you mean he really thinks he understands all these that he has broken like Preemptive Strike against a country that had done nothing to us.. Taking our privacy away from us, tapping in to our phones, reading our email's . reading our incoming mail, breaking into our homes whether we are there or not, taking what he wanted out of our private homes. Taking control of us like a Dictator. To many things he has broken to even write them all down. Slip of the tongue , he is no shame, He is a complete habitual liar.

It is really sad when the President doesn't know that the executive branch executes laws not interprets them. Interpretation is for the Supreme Court. He does seem to have a plethora of tongue slips doesn't he?

He indicated again this week when he said "this is my government" that he doesn't understand the Constitution which he pledged to defend.

His head is filled with mashed potatoes.

If it was a slip of the tongue, it was a Freudian slip.

Nope. He is the "Decider." Or so he thinks. He sure didn't manage to decide how this Amnesty bill was going to go.
