Would you rather know the truth and live miserably because of understanding that you can’t change anything or would you rather believe everything you are told and live a "happy" life?

I have an uncontrollable urge to find out the truth but often I wish I was blissfully ignorant.
I am always struggling with that question,a never ending battle between reason and emotion

I'd rather know the truth and change things for the better. Anything can be changed.

Neither. I derive great satisfaction from understanding things. Even if through understanding, I realized I was powerless. At least I would understand why.

ah, the old 'ignorance is bliss' question. Obviously I prefer to know things, as I went throught with an education. And I will never know if I want to know it all, until I know it all, and by that time it is too late...;)
