the script writers wrote the stories so you and others could figure out there are some professors who are talented in some areas and not in others. besides not ending the series. if I was on an island with two beautiful ladies I really wouldn't want to be rescued either.

Hey, if I were the professor I would have delayed the rescue as well with two hot available women on that island. The dude never made his move.
