The team that defeated Brazil yesterday had never played together as a team before. please give credit to the players in the field that made an excellent job. ah and brazil did try, but the mexican defense was excellent, and memo ah?? Did you see memo Ochoa?
Stop hating and accept that Mexico defeated Brazil in equalitty of circumstances.

Tiga tiga, i am not comparing, but the thing is that those mexican players and those Brazilian players that were not on the field today faced off each other last year and mexico won. that is that is the fact.

Mexico with a starting line up of mainly young players who had never played together combined with the lethality of casillo, experience of marquez and Torrado defeated brazil fair and square. Brazil must work a lot to get their jogo bonito in tune and mexico must keep on playing like that and not grow over-confident and loose the easy games later.
I wish everybody remeber that this is a sport and not insult or demeanish other peoples' countries: That is not what a sport is intended to be, I wish that everybody remembered that, and not bring their hates into a game that can and does unite the world in comopetition, and as long as we are playing we are not fighting wars.

Your right, Mexico beat Brazil. Your right the mexican defense was excellent as was Ochoa. But its Copa America and not the most competitive international play(ie or else Ron and Kaka would have played). I agree that Mexico played a hell of a game and that with the player/coach controversies and the short rest period it was a beautiful win. But you are comparing one of the most dominant clubs in the history of international futbol (ie. 5 world cups) to a team that hasn't even passed the quarterfinals in the FIFA World Cup based on one game. To say that the best team comprised of Brazilian players took the field against the best team of Mexican players would be the most ridiculous statement ever. Both teams were suffering major losses in their rosters and both coaches were on the hot seat. Although Brazil was the favorite it should be very clear that had the best of the Brazilians been on the pitch that day the outcome certainly would have been different. I accept the loss in the Copa America but in no way will I say that the Brazilian team beaten yesterday was the Brazil-A team (maybe Brazil-AB). Quite simply the magic quartet does not seem satisfied with anything other than larger silverware which in itself is a bloody shame.

It was a great game & both teams played with depleted squads. while going through the answers to this question, I get the impression that the Brazilians & their supporters alike believes that Ronaldiniho, Kaka & Co. would have guaranteed victory for Brazil. Please just wake up & be real. These guys were at the world cup 2006 & Brazil lost. So stop hating.

We (as Mexican fans) had to accept the cruel reality of the American victory last Sunday. Guess what ? we have moved on. Stop hating, Mexico did well to use their limitations to good effect & I think we should be applauded & not put down for our victory.

Brazil is Brazil, yes Ronaldo , Ronaldinho and Kaka might not have played yesterday but a win is win. I enjoyed more that the team played very well, the referee´s work was not seen in the outcome of the game (as if he might have committed errors) and Mexico made the most of his scoring chances.

Mostly, I believe that the true Mexican soccer fans are not crying out loud that we would be World Cup champions right now and that we continue showing the respect that Brazil deserves as a soccer team

Yeah, they were without Kaka, Dida, Ronaldhino, Pele, Romario, Bebeto, Socrates, etc....

The fact is Mexico's team played better than Brazil. the fact is Mexico always plays Brazil well, no matter who is playing. Mexico, plays a beautiful game of soccer. It just so happens to work better against Brazil than the USA. Hard to explain, but it just does.

Now, if the US beats Argentina today, that will truley be historic!

Mexico played well as a team....Brazil was in shambles.....you could tell Mexico was better match fit due to the fact they been playing competitively since the beginning of the month regardless if most of them did not start in the previous competition.

Ochoa is a very good goalkeeper.....I been impressed with this kid since Chivas was playing in the South American Tournaments....

Look...Brasil is Brasil....it doesn't matter if their stars are there or not...they're the gods of soccer..."They're goalkeeper Doni was a sub..bla bla bla..no ronaldihno...no Kaka..." Guess what? Mexico's amazing goalie was the sub too!!!! and he played f'ing great!!! i'm getting it all of the time too and that i could desire to assert, Poppy is only a month older than Lily and four inches longer so which you will think of how usually i'm getting 'wow, she's enormous', lol As I pronounced, Poppy is one and is almost 25lbs and 33.5 inches long. i'm 5'7" and my Husband is 6'6" so we knew we'd get a tall one. while human beings remark on her length (like our wellness practitioner who constantly seems up from the video demonstrate the place it says he's approximately to establish a one million year previous and says "are we valuable we've the final baby"), I only say "yeah, if purely we've been all tall and skinny like her" and maximum folk only smile civilly and back away. It does not complication me that individuals think of she is extensive and to be straightforward, i understand approximately 3 or 4 different little ones each of an analogous length of Lily so perchance the place you reside, all the different little ones are only small, lol She sounds completely proportioned to me.
