I LOVE Aoki! Alana and Ava are pretty bland...Layla is average, Lena is great, and Alexa is okay.

Wow, everyone's asking about Alana today!!! My name is Alana and I have always loved it for its uniqueness, although it tends to get mispronounced a lot (people say A-lay-na, instead of A-lah-na) But it is really unique, and I was always the only Alana in school, which was fun. Good luck finding a mini personalized Alana license plate though.
As for the rest- Aoki-sounds really Japanese and sort of cool; Ava- one of my favorites; Layla-awesome, and a good song too!; Lena- cute but sort of old-ladyish sounding; Alexa-another total favorite- you and I are on the same name wavelength!!!!!!

I love the name Ava! I wanted to name my daughter that, but my hubby didn't like it. I also like Alexa! I don't like Aoki, Alana, or Lena. Layla is ok!

All of them are beautiful names! But, my favorites are Alana, Ava, Layla and Alexa.
Alana (Hawaiian) - means "awakening"
Ava (Afghan) - means "voice"
Layla (Arabic) - means "dark beauty"
Alexa (Greek) - means "defending"
