He'll be 22 mo in a couple days He's 25 pounds and 30 inches tall. I knw he's not freakishly small but he is smaller than any baby I know his age or younger. Who else has a baby his age and how big are they I wanna compare just because.

OK let me add I'm not comparing him negatively to other kids. My daughter was always waaay tall for her age and he's just tiny. he doesn't eat nearly as well as she did and he's not very healthy. i continue to breast feed b/c he wont eat . I think he's darling just how he is. i just like to get an idea of the average to keep track and make sure he is not waaaaaay to small. i know right now he is fine, he's on the charts so I don't care it's just interesting to see what other babies are doing at this age

Dont worry about it, if there was something to be concerned then the doctor would let you know, im sure.

My daughter is 15 almost 16 months and on a good day weighs 15lbs. My doctors get concerned with her weight because her stomach is smaller than it should be and she is allergic to so many things but if he is fine, walking around and talking a happy as can be toddler then let him be he will probably catch up or pass all of the other kids his age in years to come.

GodBless.

Well my son is 9 mo old and he is smaller than the average baby his age. He was born a month premature though--they say sometimes that has to do w/size later on in life. My son is 16 lbs now and looks a bit small. I don't know his exact height, he doesn't exactly stay still enough for a measuring tape, ya know? LOL.

I care for a boy who will be 2 soon and he is only 25 pounds, but the doctors keep saying that he'll be over 6 feet like the rest of his family. He is very healthy and smart, just a little small.

My son has always been in the 10-15 percentile for his age group. He was also small at birth, he will most likely continue to remain smaller than average. It is no big deal. When my son complains that all the other boys and girls in his class are bigger, I just give him a hug and tell him that good things come in small packages.

Everyone is different, thank God. Someone has to be the tallest and someone has to be the smallest. That's the way it goes.

My son is 19 months and he 25 pounds and 31 inches tall. He is on the small side too, but both I and his father are short. He has tiny feet. He can still wear the size 3 shoe I bought him when he started walking at 10 months (although I am sure it has stretched) He wears a size four shoe and has tiny feet. :)

My daughter is 3 and a half years old, (42 months) and weighs 28.5 pounds. She is petite and small just like I was, and I was within the normal range. My friend's son is the same way, and his dad was also like that, and dad is now 6'1". If your doctor thinks there is a medical concern, I would be worried, but if not, I'd just keep in mind that your little boy will probably gain a foot over his 13th summer! hehe I hope this helps! :)

Mine will be three years old in a 4 months and she's 24 lbs and 34 inches but she's developing just fine and is very healthy. All babies are different! as long as he's developing and growing and thriving, he's fine
