The directions were very brief and I am moving from dial up to high speed.

If you order the Self-installation kit:
First, AT&T Internet Services will install AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet on your AT&T telephone line running from the AT&T Central Office or an AT&T high-speed Internet remote terminal to your home. If your ISP (At&t) increased the speed of your internet connection there shouldn't be anything you need to do. It should automatically take effect and change within your modem settings. Possibly try powercycling (turn modem off for 30-45 seconds and turn back on) and that might help it adjust to the change. If you still don't notice it then - call At&t. They might need to force the speed change through.
