I think most celebs go through a period of elated ego. Most stay there, a few select ones realize they are no better or worse than the people who clean their houses, wash their cars & cook their food.

There's still a short period of time when they're still normal.
But then, the celebrity virus works its way into their central nervous system and begins making them do typical celebrity things, such as naming their kids weird names and complaining about being famous.
In the later stages of the disease, the celebrity virus usually causes some kind of narcotics and/or alcohol addiction. Followed soon after by bad movies, made-for-TV movies and worst of all, badly made made-for-TV movies.

I don't know really. I guess celebrities have a different reality from the one most of us have. But it's a reality just they same. They deal with love, children, finances, death and finding "work". I'd say it's just a different kind of reality...
