elizabeth edwards made a complete fool of ann coulter the other day when she called into the chris matthews show while coulter was oozing her hatred.

edwards, far shrewder than coulter actually got ann to openly admit that if she stops the personal attacks she will have nothing to either write about or speak about.

she did this with the remarkably simple request that coulter stop attacking her dead son - coulter refused stating what i have outlined above.

coulter basically ended her career in that hour and we have elizabeth edwards to thank for it.

i'm going to be looking at john edwards with new interest - if coulter hates him that much, he must be ok...
