Marriage when it's to the right person. After living with a person long enough, you may as well be married. If you're not gonna marry me, then why on earth are we playing house?

My recommendation is BOTH ... first cohabitate for at least 3 months. Then if all seems it will be well start with the wedding plans. 3-6 months is a good amount of time to see how well you can live together and if marriage is still an option. It's a lot cheaper to pack and move out than to divorce.

I think both. Let me explain. The way society is anymore with the "throw away relationship", I think it is wise to live with one another and truly find out all of the perks and querks. They major likes and dislikes with one another. A test drive if you will. People are so ready to get a divorce and not try hard enough to save a relationship over small things. I still however very much believe in marriage. I believe in a tight bond that holds two people closely together to form a strong family unit. I believe it is very possible to find your soul mate and stay with them forever even though you may have had many relatioships that didn't work out first. I also believe to have a strong long lasting marriage you have to have great, strong moral values. No lies.

Nothing wrong with cohabiting; but for me? I'd like to be married. I've done both, and for a long time, was totally against getting re-married. But now, I'm ready to make that kind of commitment again . . . if I can ever find the right guy! :)
