You can't wake him up. You need to proceed and complete the events of Wonderland and after defeating the final boss you'll be able to interact with him one last time and lock the keyhole.

Have you been outside yet..there is another way out to the Queen's Garden. The door will not open *revealing a keyhole to Sora* until you beat the Boss Heartless in that room. The door will complain about Sora making so much voice and yawn *revealing the keyhole so you can lock Wonderland*

did you have a battle with the heartless in the room?the battle wakes up the doorknob.if not go back out of the room and go back in.
