PST is Pacific Standard Time which is used mostly in the Winter. Arizona stays on PST even in the summer. So, right now there is only one hour difference between PST and Central Daylight Time. Parts of Indiana used to stay on Central Standard throughout the year, but that has recently changed.

The united states is divided into four time zones (on the continent), plus one for Alaska and another for hawaii.
Let's say it's noon eastern time.
That means it's:
11:00 AM Central
10:00 AM Mountain
9:00 AM Pacific
8:00 AM Alaskan
7:00 AM Hawaii
So Pacific time is two hours behind central time.

Central Time is two hours ahead of Pacific Time. So, if it's 11:30 am in Central, its 9:30am in Pacific
