Freemasonry and Tattoos?

I was wondering if anyone knows how the Fraternity Views tattoos and tattooed people? I have started my path to Freemasonry. Thanks for your help.

If you are a Mason, you should realize from what you were taught from the very beginning it is the inner qualifications of a man which are important not the exterior. I have been involved in numerous raisings of Brothers to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason and some were tattooed and some were not. this was their individual choice and never have I seen a Brother frowned upon for having or not having tattoos.
