Someone reported you. Yahoo does NOT investigate. If they get a report notice, they simply delete. That way they don't actually have to do any work. Happens all the time. You have a troll who wants to hassle you, and all he has to do is report

I know it has something to do with chatting, but don't feel too bad I had two answers deleted and they were just simply complimenting the question - I am not going to worry about it, I e-mailed them back and I got a computer generated response. Someone said I can go to the forum and cut and paste - I say it is not worth my time. I will just try to stay away from questions that I think Yahoo (based in California) and answers that they don't like. Of course, it could also be trolls. Oh well, live and learn, and remember if you are a conservative or a Christian on Yahoo, you might be getting a violation for no good reason.

That's stupid. You must have a stalker or someone who doesn't like you. Have you made any enemies lately? E-mail Yahoo back. Explain yourself. I got a violation, my only one, for replying to someone's ill-formed political humor by just saying "dorky" I got a violation for that. The guy who asked the question was a racist and violated many guidelines but I didn't report him. He must of just not liked people. It's really sad that people can't cool it and keep this place clean. The crazy obnoxious people who have 25 accounts are the ones that need to be dealt with. They ruin it for everyone. Not people that post supposed "chat."

Read the TOS, I beoieve that exact question word for word is described as a violation of TOS. Don;t worry, I have a theory...my questionsd last week that sought to be respectful and find common ground were removed. I made several friends on the other side of the aisle over these questions, but I believe they were removed because they sought unilty, and everyone in politics knows you get noticed by NOT working well with others.

Violations are not earned around here they are indiscriminately given whenever anyone decides to report a violation. I have been issued violations for similarly innocuous postings.
My dear mother in law, who is very religious and frequents the R&S forum, has been repeatedly issued violations just because someone does not agree with her logical arguments against evolution.

It is in conversational form instead of an actual question. You were violated because someone took offense to you using this as a chat outlet.

The reports had nothing to do with what you posted but everything to do with who you are.
