There really is no such thing as "the typical liberal." She doesn't exist. You can search all throughout womankind, but, my good woman, you will never find a lady who is exactly the same as any other group of women. So why don't we all stop stereotyping and slandering liberals and conservatives and just show some sisterly love, huh?

When somebody writes in the third person general, she should just stick with one gender. In the history of woman, that's the way it has always been. If you ask God Almighty, a supreme being with no gender at all, She'll probably also agree with you that using two pronouns is superfluous......

You know, you're right. Using two pronouns is stupid. I'll just stick with the female one from now on. Thanks! :)

In the world of journalism and literature the he as used in this sense refers to mankind or personkind if you prefer. He/she often looks awkward. Many societies use the masculine ending or reference when referring to the population generally. For example in Spanish when a sign says to control your children the literal translation is control your boys. Los Ninos not only refers to boys but children in general. So it is no use baiting or blaming liberals for this as it is tradition and custom without regard to one's political bend. If one wishes to use both pronouns it is also correct. Depending on one's personal choice.

My bad, I thought their were 2 sexes in the world. I must've missed something. I will forever now refer to everything and everyone in masculine form.

Thanks for bringing this extremely important social issue to my attention! I was reading about immigration reform and the President being subpoenaed, but now I'm gonna write my congressman about this! Men have had to deal with this "equality" thing for far too long! We must let them take back the ownership of everything!

Those females professors in college like it when they show they include women in the sentence.
Other people write s/he
Maybe we could all just shorten it to "E" when we don't know the gender of whom were talking about.

Ex: If we catch the thief, E will have to pay!

I once had a doctor named Dr. Shehee, and E was really funny! That's the truth.

Right. Conservatives don't do that. Conservative and liberal have nothing to do with social issues, only poilitical issues. The media just pushes them into that corner.

Yes we can. Here's an example:

While discussing the user that posted this question to a friend Johnny the liberal says "He was a real jerk".

It's has to do with radical feminism, an offshoot of the liberal agenda.

The word "men" is accompanied by the new national mantra of "men 'n women, men 'n women, men 'n women. That's why I don't watch much TV any longer, but watch WW2 movies about FIGHTING MEN.

Thanks to the ridiculous liberals, the both the language and the way of speaking have become so altered, that you can hardly understand it any more.

The liberals need to be ousted from dictionary composition and other areas where sanity is required.

To be "Liberal" means to be "politically correct"? Should we all aspire to be more like that or what? What if I chose not to be so "politically correct"? Would anyone care?

Because as robotic sheep, they "feeel" that they are contributing to the equality of the sexes somehow by towing the PC line that has been fed to them when in reality they look ridiculous to most normal people.

Like saying "mail carrier" instead of mailman.
