Did Congress pimp slap Bush (rightly so)? A little bit of "in your face!" over his immigration ideas (amnesty). Several Democrats voted it down too.

Whats even worse is that they will not even get back to work on it for almost two years. Seems like if it was such an important issue they would make room to deal with it this fall. I wonder how many more illegals will come into the country in the meantime? "Hello terrorists, we can't get our act together so the border is open wide for you."

Yeah, just like they were sooooo tough with that "non-binding" resolution they passed. What a waste of time and taxpayer money. Or, that Pelosi comment how congress would not support the war with a blank check and kept voting down bills to that affect. Finally, after all the grandstanding, they cow towed and gave Bush the "blank check". You should be so proud.

the Kennedy- Mccain -Bush whorfest got slapped by the people, dems and repubs all hated it.
