It is normal. Some girls have heavier periods than others. It is also normal for a period to be havier the first few days. Plus, your cycle is still regulating. It will probably be "weird" for awhile yet.

Yes. Mine usually lasts about 5 or 6 days. It will slow down by the end of the week. Mine always starts out heavy in the beggining and middle, but by the end, if you dont want ruined undies, wear a pad for 2 days after you think that your period is gone. Also, consider using tampons. Just remember to change it.

It could be that you are having a heavy flow this month, especially if you are just beginning "puberty." When you first start, periods can vary in flow and are usually heavier for the first few days. Or, if you are sexually active, and if this is an especially painful menstrual cycle, you could be having a miscarriage. I think it is probably a heavy period. You may want to start taking some vitamins to help with fatigue and health. Periods can always take so much out of you! If you have any doubt and start looking really pale, feeling really weak, or bleeding profusely, you should go to the ER. Good luck sweetie!

that's nothing. for the last year mine has been heavy for 7-14 days and last period was 30 days. i had to change every hour for at least 15 of those days. do you know how many pads that was? i should buy stock in feminine hygiene products.

yes, this is very normal. Since you are only 3 months in, your pattern is really irregular. It won't be regular until you've had it for a full year. Plus, you've only had it heavy for 3 days, so it should die down after a couple more days.

It is nothing to worry about, periods can vary in the amount of flow from month to month.

It will stop/ease in a day or two.
