Did Congress pimp slap Bush (rightly so)? A little bit of "in your face!" over his immigration ideas (amnesty). Several Democrats voted it down too.

The American people are the ones who caused it to be defreated. I think your description is sadly crass and shows no class but it is a good thing that it did not survive.

Not just Bush but many liberals that thought using cries of racism would make us all back off. Them days are over. If protecting my country makes me a racist, I'm gonna start wearing a hood and robe.
