They are one of the elite four or five teams in MLB. They have pitching, hitting and defense and the ability to win it all this year.

On paper they are better than last year, but I think they have more competition than last year, especially with the Indians. The Indians really humbled them in Detroit. We'll see if that happens again the next time they come to Detroit.

They are great and should be a contender for the World Series. Gary Sheffield has been a great addition and Magglio Ordonez has had a phenomenal season. Every one on the team has gotten better and they should be contenders for years to come.

The Tigers are not as good as last year because of their difficulties with the bullpen.

What can you say? They have a great mixture of young and veteran talent on that team and a tough determined skipper in Leyland. A great combo for success.

they are pretty darn good and would be the best if they could figure out their bullpen situation. They need to get rid of Grilli and Rodney and get Zumaya back.
