Who exactly is Ann Coulter?

I never heard of her until this week. I'm kinda glad I haven't because what she said was kinda crazy about John Edwards.

I have been watching Ann Coulter since the days of Politically Incorrect. She used to be funny and a little insightful on some issues. Now I find that she just goes for more and more shock value. I don't watch or listen to her anymore although I do find a certain sense of amusement in the fact that people get so upset over what she says. When people pay attention to her ridiculous statements she sells millions of books. That is why she does it, she is laughing all the way to the bank. If you want to see some of her rants, go to youtube and put in Ann Coulter. Among the things she has said:

"I was going to have a few comments about John Edwards but you have to go into rehab if you use the word ******." --at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference

"These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by griefparrazies. I have never seen people enjoying their husband's deaths so much." -on 9/11 widows who have been critical of the Bush administration

"We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' creme brulee. That's just a joke, for you in the media."

Ann Coulter is a well-known right-wing author/pundit. She often inspires controversy, the stuff in Canada is definitely not the first one. After 9/11 she made a comment about how the 9/11 widows were loving thir celebrity status and that she had never seen people who loved the deaths of their husbands so much when some 9/11 widows were critical of Bush.

She is a rude bigoted air head and that she says nasty things about ppl she does not even know . shame on her for what she did to Elizabeth Edwards . I respect liz edwards very much she has triumphed over her childs death and had twins over 40 and is also fighting cancer . what has ann coulter accomplish except to write a book and be a bigot . If you dont know her it is no big loss she is not a person of substance or class .

In my opinion she is a Republican whore who understands the value of shock. Her entire career has been nothing but a media fest. You can think of her as the female Rush Limbaugh because she follows the same format of saying outrages things and making money from it. Is she plugging a new book? Not a single word that escapes her liver lips carries any truth. She is a whore for attention, ratings, and the income they produce. C'est tout.

She is a thorn in liberals side because she speaks clearly, concisely, and honestly. SURE she's opinionated, but they have YET to be able to prove one word NOT to be the truth.

Coulter has described herself as a "polemicist" who likes to "stir up the pot" and does not claim to be "impartial or balanced".

Elizabeth Edwards and her Husband aren't exactly polite or politically correct either.

I've read all of her books AND checked her references... just as I've also read Bill & Hillary's books, Al Gores book... Ann at least puts in researchable and accurate quotes and references.
