The number 1 complaint of pious Muslims about America (and the West generally) is our "decadent" culture. Specifically: abortion, pornography, blasphemy, feminism, blatant sexuaity, homosexualism. These are all promoted and protected by the liberal left. They created the "decadent culture" that the Muslims loath. Are the liberals, therefore actually responsible for the overflowing outrage the Muslims feel toward the West?

I am a practicing muslim, an American, and my politics are quite liberal. I am a feminist, pro-choice (in the first trimester), and support gay marriage. I believe in tolerance and equal rights in a free society.
The "puritan" (extremist, Wahhabi/Salafi) muslims DEFINE their religious and political positions to be the polar opposite of whatever the "West" does. There is no rhyme or reason to it. They just want to be anti-West in every matter. This is not traditional Islam, nor is it the Islam of the moderate majority. They are, however, vocal and well funded. The silent masses of moderate muslims need to stand up, be heard, and marginalize these wackos.
If you want to see decadence, just look at the oil sheikhs, the saudi royal family and the dubai princes with their $10,000 per night 7 star hotel rooms, palaces, private jets and whatnot.
Most of the outrage among ordinary muslims abroad has to do with American (neo-conservative) foreign policy more than anything else.

If you read the works of Qutb (some call him the godfather of radical Islam), the decadences are not only the list you provided. Instead, in his time in America, he found the open sexuality coupled with blatant racism and focus on material culture to be most problematic with American culture. In addition, this is often coupled to claims about our foreign policy. According to his biography, in America Qutb found: "harried crowds resembling an excited herd that knew only lust and money. He describes love in America as merely a body that lusts after another body...nature has bestowed on America many blessings, but no one understood or felt this beauty except as animals and beasts."
From this quotation, the complaints seem to be: materialism, open sexuality, and environmental destruction. The number 1 complain is not just open sexuality, but includes such other concerns about society and particularly foreign policy, I think it is unfair to blame or lay responsibility at the feet of any group in America. We should stop blaming ourselves or our identities and saying that that is the reason there are Islamic radicals against us. Instead, we should look at our policies that allow and permit that hatred to commit atrocities. I would hate to decide policy simply because of fear of reprisals from terrorists.

No, they are not. The crazy Muslims trying to kill us are the ones responsible for the hatred. They grow it and nurture it in their following generations, rather than teaching their children that they should be tolerant of other people's cultures. They would hate us even if we weren't that liberal. You realize that their religion forbids women to show their hair, because it could sexually excite their men, and only whores wear their hair openly, right? Well, think about it. Even if everybody was a conservative, all our women would still be whores to them because we run around with our hair exposed. Getting rid of the liberals wouldn't make a difference in this.

it ain't the culture that the muslims r complaining about,its all bcoz of the kharkuss west not leaving the east to live its life peacefully.these bomb blasts all are the retaliations of what v r seeing in Iraq,Afghanistan,Lebnan and other countries where the us is screwing itself.
