We don't know what the sex of our baby is yet, but we're talking names already. It took until the day of the birth for us to decide on Molly last time and I don't want to go through that again.

1. Oliver David
2. James David

1. Mia Ellen
2. Olivia May

I really like Mia and Oliver the best, but I'm not sure that Oliver goes with David, and we want David as a middle name after both of our fathers.

I'm glad that someone is doing middle names after a loved one here, I like Oliver David better than James David by far, and I think Olivia May flows better, but I like the name Mia better. Maybe you can put Mia May instead. Hope that helped! Best of wishes! :)

I agree, I like Oliver best too. I actually think it works wonderfully with David. And something to remember about a middle name is that it isn't used very often so if it doesn't have the "greatest" flow it doesn't matter-how often do you use your middle name? Naming your baby after your fathers is a truely loving thing to do and I think Oliver David is a great name-don't change it!

I love Mia Ellen also! Mia, to me, is a elegant and classy name. When you pair it with Ellen is becomes a strong sounding name that your child can grow up with! I love your choice! You could also put Mia Olivia together-it's a beautiful name!

I think the boys names would sound better as David James or David Oliver. Mia and OIivia are both nice, but I don't like the middle names you have chosen.

I personally am not a fan of the name Oliver. To me, it's one of those names that just screams "Why did my parents name me this?" But if you are dead-set on using that name, I think Oliver David kind of works. I like Olivia May. It flows very nicely.

Personally, I believe you can do a little better, but that's just my opinion and no matter what names you come up with, someone will always be for and against them lol. Good luck!

Oh, gosh, Mia is one of my all-time favorite baby names!! I hope to have a little girl named Mia one day, and I also think it goes well with her older sister Molly. As for Mia Ellen, though, I am not sure if those two names go together. Have you thought of pairing Mia with a one-syllable name instead, such as Grace, Paige, Jane, Rose, etc? It "flows" better.

Olivia May is a very nice name as well. It flows very nicely.

Oliver David is a cute name, but once again, I think a one syllable middle name like Tate or Cade or Mark is a better fit.

James David is nice because the baby could go by J.D. if he ever wanted to, yet another name I was thinking of for a baby, LOL!! I like the idea of using David because of your fathers, though. Nice tribute! Happy new baby.

Well...I like James David better, but Oliver David is nice too.

I'm not a huge fan of matchy-matchy names, so I wouldn't choose Mia since you already have a Molly. I do love Olivia May...very classy and beautiful.

While I love the name Oliver, personally I'd not use it with David as a middle name because of the initials O.D. James David and Olivia May get my vote.

I like Oliver and Mia the best also. I think David goes quite well with Oliver. I think you did a real good job picking out names. They are uncommon also, which helps!
